Famous for its <em><strong>Leaning Tower<\/strong><\/em> built in <em>XII century<\/em> and which attracts millions of tourists every year, <strong>Pisa<\/strong> is the city that gives birth to the great Physicist and Astronomer <strong><em>Galileo Galilei<\/em><\/strong> as well as being the seat of three of the most important Italian and European Universities: l'<strong><em>University of Pisa<\/em><\/strong>The <strong><em>Scuola Superiore Normale<\/em><\/strong> and the <em><strong>Scuola superiore Sant\u2019Anna<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the interesting places to visit in Pisa: <em>Square of Miracles<\/em>The <em>Cathedral<\/em>, the <em>Leaning Tower<\/em> (verification of the <a class=\"leggibutton\" href=\"https:\/\/www.opapisa.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">availability<\/a>), The <em>Baptistery<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lucca<\/strong> among the cities of art of Italy is considered with its monuments, including the <em>Church of San Michele in Foro<\/em>one of the greatest examples of <em>Romanesque architecture<\/em>. Of certain origin <em>Romana<\/em>, with probable settlements <em>pre-Romans<\/em>, <strong>Lucca<\/strong> is famous for its intact <em>Renaissance City Wall<\/em>, for the famous monuments, churches (so many to be nicknamed <em>the city of 100 churches<\/em>) and Squares including <em>Amphitheater Square<\/em> born on the remains of an ancient <em>roman amphitheater<\/em>. The period <em>medieval<\/em> marks the growth of this city and towards 1300 becomes one of the most important cities of Italy. Despite the wars between <em>Guelphs<\/em> e <em>Ghibellini<\/em> in which they saw it involved in victorious battles against Florence that tried to conquer it, <strong>Lucca<\/strong> remained a <em>Independent Republic<\/em> until 1799 when it fell at the hands of the French of <em><strong>Napoleon Bonaparte<\/strong><\/em>. Lucca is the city that gives birth to <strong><em>Giacomo Puccini<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Among the interesting places to visit in <strong>Lucca<\/strong>The <em>Cathedral of Lucca<\/em>, the <em>Church of San Michele in Foro<\/em>, <em>Amphitheater Square<\/em>, the <em>Guinigi Tower<\/em>, <em>Napoleon Square<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"cit\"><i class=\"fas fa-clock\"><\/i><em> The excursion of <strong>Pisa<\/strong> e <strong>Lucca<\/strong> foresees departure from Florence at 9am and return at 5pm. The total duration, including transportation, is about <strong>8 hours<\/strong>.
