Pisa<\/strong> with its secular history knows in the Middle Ages<\/em>among othersXI<\/em> and the 15th century<\/em>, its maximum splendor when from Independent Republic<\/em> (First Republic of Pisa<\/em>) became one of the Maritime Republics<\/strong><\/em> Italian most important. Famous for its Leaning Tower<\/strong><\/em> built in XII century<\/em> and which attracts millions of tourists every year, Pisa<\/strong> is the city that gives birth to the great Physicist and Astronomer Galileo Galilei<\/em><\/strong> as well as being the seat of three of the most important Italian and European Universities: l'University of Pisa<\/em><\/strong>The Scuola Superiore Normale<\/em><\/strong> and the Scuola superiore Sant\u2019Anna<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Among the interesting places to visit in Pisa: Square of Miracles<\/em>The Cathedral<\/em>, the Leaning Tower<\/em> (verification of the availability<\/a>), The Baptistery<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lucca<\/strong> among the cities of art of Italy is considered with its monuments, including the Church of San Michele in Foro<\/em>one of the greatest examples of Romanesque architecture<\/em>. Of certain origin Romana<\/em>, with probable settlements pre-Romans<\/em>, Lucca<\/strong> is famous for its intact Renaissance City Wall<\/em>, for the famous monuments, churches (so many to be nicknamed the city of 100 churches<\/em>) and Squares including Amphitheater Square<\/em> born on the remains of an ancient roman amphitheater<\/em>. The period medieval<\/em> marks the growth of this city and towards 1300 becomes one of the most important cities of Italy. Despite the wars between Guelphs<\/em> e Ghibellini<\/em> in which they saw it involved in victorious battles against Florence that tried to conquer it, Lucca<\/strong> remained a Independent Republic<\/em> until 1799 when it fell at the hands of the French of Napoleon Bonaparte<\/strong><\/em>. Lucca is the city that gives birth to Giacomo Puccini<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n
