The Chianti is the area of production of one of the most ancient wines in the world.Italy. Just think of the year the Chianti Classico Consortium (1716), which includes some hundreds of wineries, to understand immediately that wine here is a secular tradition.

Originally the area of the Black Rooster (this is how the Wine of Chianti Classico and its Consortiuma logo with a dark-colored bird) was included among the countries of Radda, Castellina e Gaiole in Chianti which are located in the heart of the area and straddle the provinces of Florence e Siena.

The territory is a continuous up and down on the enchanted hills of the Tuscany which in spring/summer explode of green but also in autumn do not lose their charm. The grapes that characterize this wine (and not only) is the Sangiovese most cultivated in the territory of the Chianti Classico. The stop at one or more of the wineries in the Chianti Classico for a tasting (and why not a lunch as well) together with the visit of some of the characteristic towns and villages of this wonderful area, will make your day an experience that cannot be missed when you stop in Tuscany.

The Chianti Classico Wine Tour foresees departure from Florence at 9am and return at 5pm. The total duration, including transportation, is about 8 hours. This excursion with the intent to focus on the Wine of the Chianti Classico also gives you the opportunity to explore some of the characteristic villages and towns immersed in the Tuscan countryside where often, if not always, the Chianti Classico Wine can be found in its stores, wine bars and local restaurants.
